Our latest success story highlights our talent acquisition and recruiting services and how we have successfully helped library trustees when they need to appoint a new library director.
Ritter Public Library is in Vermilion, Ohio. It is a community center for the Vermilion area providing free space, information and entertainment. The Library provides the residents of the Vermilion Local Schools district with a variety of books, movies and music; computers and access to the Internet; educational and entertaining programs and classes; and other materials and services. The Ritter Public Library is in the middle of the town’s central district and is architecturally noteworthy for being the first Ohio library to earn the LEED Gold Award for leadership in energy and environmental design.
Marie Warden, President of the Board of Trustees was our partner on the project. She said:
When it came time for our organization to appoint a new director, we realized that we needed a partner who could help us connect with the right talent pool of library management professionals. What stood out most to us was OA's willingness to work closely with us to understand our unique needs and goals. They took the time to listen to our concerns, answer our questions, and tailor their approach to suit our organization's specific requirements. Their collaborative and consultative approach made the entire recruitment process much smoother and allowed us to find a director who is a great fit for our library. One of the major benefits of having a library professional as part of OA's recruitment team was that they understood the specific skills and qualifications required for the job. This allowed them to identify and attract the most suitable candidates for the role. Throughout the recruitment process, OA's team was highly professional, responsive, and dedicated to understanding our library's unique needs and goals. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were connected with a diverse pool of candidates, and provided invaluable guidance and support throughout the interview and selection process. Thanks to OA's exceptional recruitment and human resources support, we were able to successfully appoint a highly qualified and skilled library director who has already had a positive impact on our organization. We strongly recommend OA and their team to any library or organization seeking top-notch recruitment and human resources assistance that is tailored to their specific requirements.
