This month’s success story highlights how Organizational Architecture has assisted their client Swift Filters within all functions of HR. Swift Filters was founded in 1970 and is headquartered in Oakwood Village, Ohio. Swift specializes in the design and manufacturing of high quality replacement filter elements, custom filter elements, and high and low pressure filter assemblies for a wide variety of industries. Ned Swift, President of Swift Filters, said, “Organizational Architecture has propelled our HR function forward. They started assisting us by ensuring the basics were in place like updating our employee manual and assisting us with the design and implementation of more efficient personnel administrative processes, which provided great guidance to our managers and supervisors on how to manage their employees. “Once this groundwork was in place, we moved on to more strategic initiatives for our workforce, like reviewing our organizational design to ensure we had the right people in the right positions. They identified that there was a need for an operations leader to help drive strategic growth of our operations rather than the day-to-day management. Organizational Architecture was able to help from start to finish by developing the job description and how the position fit within our organization, all the way to recruiting, sourcing, and screening for the role, which resulted in making a quality hire for our organization. I know I can always count on picking up the phone to give OA a call when I have any HR question”. There are many different components that must be considered to develop an effective HR function. Organizational Architecture is here to help, whether you need assistance with one specific area within HR or a complete overhaul of your HR strategy.
